NCAA Football Bowls Pool Rules

(Important Information: Please Read Carefully)

How to Enter

Requires a $5.00 donation and a filled out entry form.  Enter as many times as you wish!  All donations must be into your Sponsor (this is the person who will be responsible for collecting your donation...make arrangements with him/her) by 11:59pm (Central Time) on the 27th of December.  All entries must be completed no later than 5:00pm (Central Time) on the 27th of December. I will post everyone's picks the night of the 27th.  Due to the holidays, your entry donation may need to be given to your Sponsor at a much earlier date, so plan ahead.

The Objective

To win, of course!  The divying up of funds will be as follows: First Place will receive 60% of the donations, Second Place will receive 25%, Third Place will receive 15%, and last place will get a refund on that particular entry donation.  If there is a tie (including the TieBreaker and number of games correctly picked), the two or more winnings will be divided among the winners.  For Example, if two people tie for first place, the two people would split 85% (60% for first place PLUS 25% for second place), third place would receive their 15%, and last place would get their entry donation returned to them.

How to Play

Fill in the entry form on this site (which are your Name, Email Address, Sponsor Name, Winning Team, Allocated Points, and TieBreaker Points) and give your $5.00 donation to your Sponsor.

Steps:

1.       Fill in your Name.  If you are filling out more than one entry for yourself, make sure the Names that you put on each sheet are unique.  For example, J. Cagle I and J. Cagle II.

2.       Fill in your Email Address.

3.       Select your Sponsor from the pull-down menu.  Your Sponsor is the person that you will be giving your $5.00 donation per entry.

4.       Select the teams that you feel will win their game, by clicking on the name of the team.

5.       Assign each game a point from 1 to 20.  These are the points in which you will receive if the team you feel will win, does win.  Each number (1 through 20) can only be used once.

6.       Fill in your guess for the total points scored (both teams’ scores added together) in the National Championship game (which is the Tostitos BCS National Championship Game (Auburn vs. Oregon) this year).  The TieBreaker will go first to whoever has the most points, then to the most games picked correctly, then to the closest guess to the total points scored in the tiebreaker game.

7.       Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.  If everything is filled out correctly, you will be redirected to a form, with your picks on it, that is a printable format. Optional...you select down by the Submit button->You will also receive an email to the supplied email address showing your picks in text/HTML format.  If something is left out, or filled incorrectly, you will receive a message stating what the problem is.  If there is a problem, correct the issue, and re-Submit.  Do this until no other problems are indicated.  If I discover a problem on my end, I will attempt to contact you or your sponsor before the “problem game” starts.

8.       Daily results, standings, scenarios, etc... will be posted on this website.

ENJOY!!
