TOURNAMENT RULES
***** COMPLETE 5 Frog Pro Pot Rules:
-Entry Fee: 5 frogs per entry

-Individuals are limited to 5 entries

-Predict a pro team that will not lose

-Cannot pick a team that you have picked before.

-Pick a LOSER and you are out!

-Prediction is due by 3 PM on the Friday before that week's football games

-First week picks are due by kickoff of the first game on THURSDAY Sept. 9th.

-In the case of a Thursday game, predictions are due by 5PM WEDNESDAY! (1st week exception; see previous rule)

-ONE Special case....for the week of October 3rd (OU-texass weekend), picks will be due by 5PM THURSDAY, September 30th

-Picks may be emailed to Rudy Thornton (RUDEMAN61@COX.NET)

-Picks can be called in to Rudy Thornton 918-749-4012.

-Some weeks picks may require early entry due to the organizer's schedule! Those weeks will be communicated the week of the event.

-(The Alphabet Rule) If picks are not received in time, your prediction will become the next available team alphabetically, by Team Location Name as listed on NFL.com (ie Arizona/Atlanta), following the team that you picked the previous week. For instance, if you picked Green Bay in week 4 and failed to pick a team, your pick would be Indianapolis unless you had picked them previously. In that case, your pick would become Jacksonville. If your pick was Washington (the last team alphabetically), your pick becomes Arizona. To make it clear: The Rams are SAINT Louis!

-It is your responsibility to turn in a valid pick. If you turn in a duplicate and it is caught prior to the entry deadline, you may change the pick. Otherwise you will be alphabetized. If the error is discovered in subsequent weeks, your duplicate pick will be revised to an alphabetized pick and re-evaluated (Meaning: Are you still IN or OUT!). Any subsequent duplicate picks caused by the modification will in turn be alphabetized and re-evaluated. Bottom line: MAKE SURE your pick is valid.

Tiebreaker:
The following rules will be applied should there be a tie for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd by 2 or more players.
Rule One) The lowest number of points that a player's selection lost
by on the last week will win. For Example) Joe and Bernard are tied
after their 2 selections lost in week 10. Joe had the Jets (lost by
14) and Bernard had the Cardinals (lost by 17). Joe wins because his
team lost by fewer points.
Rule Two) If a tie still exists after applying Rule One, then the
records of a player's selections will be accumulated to come up with
an overall won-loss record for the player. The player with the lowest
winning percentage, will be declared the victor. Example) It is week
5, Joe has selected 5 teams that were all 4-1. His record will be
20-5. Bernard has selected teams that have records of 1-4, so his
record is 5-20. Bernard wins with a winning percentage of .200 to
Joe's .800.
Rule Three) If a tie still exists after Rule One & Rule Two are
applied, the position will be declared a tie and the money for that
position will be split.

MAXIMUM LENGTH OF CONTEST:
The maximum length of the contest will be 17 weeks. If there are 2 or more players remaining, all will share the 1st place share. Example: 2 have correctly picked a team for 17 weeks, they split the 60% PLUS 30%...with whoever got 3rd place receiving the remaining 10%. If 4 people are left after 17 weeks, then the entire pot is split 4 ways.
